Far too often these days the term “5 star match” gets thrown around carelessly. When I think of a 5 star match the Flair/Steamboat series comes to mind first. Then Austin vs Bret at Wrestlemania 13. Those are certified classics that should be required viewing for any wrestling fan. Those are the measuring sticks by which I judge the quality of matches. This match right here, is another. 

When people think of women’s wrestling they unfortunately think of the current product the WWE & TNA push. Bikini models & former fitness competitors looking to cash in on their looks & limited athletic ability. It’s like GLOW only slightly better…or worse depending on your tastes. Sure there are real talents like Natalya, Beth Phoenix & Gail Kim in the mix but they’re the saving graces. The women featured in this video would fall under the category of world class performers.

Sit back & enjoy one of the best wrestling matches ever. Notice I didn’t qualify it by saying its one of the best women’s matches you’ll see. This match rivals anything you’d see the men do. In fact, for you fanboys that thought that Elgin vs Richards was 5 stars, watch this & watch that & tell me which had better atmosphere & finish.

New Shit: Anthraxx - Fire & Ice…

Struggle raps - and for once, I mean that in a good way. A lotta emotion in this one, then again that’s what Philly niggas do when it comes to this rap shit. That could be a good or bad thing, but in this case I’m going with the former.

The song aside, the video is really good. A lot of the same shit we’ve seen before, but it’s really well shot and I dig the treatment. I’m kinda embarrassed to admit that I’m actually waiting on the cliffhanger resolution from the end of a rap video. LOLs. Will any of the Polo by Ralph Lauren apparel get splattered with blood?

Song of the Day: 50 Cent - Queens, NY feat Paris…

I listened to Fif’s new mixtape (The Big 10) and I gotta say, it’s pretty decent. There’s one dud on the whole thing. Everything else is a go. Plus it has what might be the best Tony Yayo verse I’ve ever heard and Paris (above) and Kidd Kidd get interesting introductions. 

Speaking of Paris, she’s definitely got some spit to her. I wonder what 50 has planned for this lady. Not that Remy Ma ever really had her own lane, but this Paris chick definitely reminds me of Remy’s hard edged and sassy vibe. The same vibe Nicki Minaj gave off initially before some really smart marketing or PR person told her to go for “Black Lady Gaga” instead. No shots though.

Nice to see 50 sharing the limelight. That might be the move, because he’s dropped A LOT of really good music (not the best shit he’s done, then again he’s been around for more than a decade already) this year, but most of you qoons don’t want to listen to him anymore because he over-saturated his brand (valid) and he’s a bully that picked on your beloved blousegawd and UNGH!fraudgawd (invalid - this shit ought to remain a competitive sport, even your favorites fill their bars with shots at invisible foes).

Anyway, enjoy your weekend. I’mma keep this streak going. Time to go see if I can go snare some latina gash at the Real Madrid v Barcelona gamewatch.
